Everybody wants cleaner dishes, granted nobody wants to do the cleaning but they do want stainless dishes with a fresh whiff of detergent instead of last night’s leftovers. So yeah cleaning dishes is very important, maximum germs and health related diseases spread from these too. But aside from diseases, it is just gross to let the dirty dishes reside in your cupboard. Although you claim to have cleaned it, they are still dirty. Accept the fact and try harder!
Nowadays, cleaning has been made easy because of the dishwashing services. Unless and until laziness doesn’t overrule you completely, you can clean your dishes quickly in no time. Actually, all you have to do is stack them up in the dishwasher and let it do its job.
Conditions for Getting Cleaned Dishes
Although you might own the latest dishwasher but still your dishes aren’t sparkling like they should. The reason is because either you pre-rinse or you wash them and then put them in dishwasher. Or you pull them out before their designated time. Whatever your reason is, following are some of the conditions which can give you clean dishes:
1. Keep Your Dishes Dirty
Yes! You heard it right. Do not pre-rinse or wet them or wash them. The dishwasher work under the principle that the enzymes clung onto the gunk on the plates and then cleans it off. When you pre-rinse or wash your dishes, you’re completely letting the enzymes to latch onto nothing. Hence why your plates or spoons or cups appear dirty despite a long wash.
2. Rinsing Wastes Water and Soap
Unless if you don’t own a dishwasher then please avoid rinsing in the first place. All it does is give you dirty dishes with smelly surfaces. Also, you waste a lot of water when you rinse. The average rinsing takes about 600 gallons of water so imagine if you leave your taps open while you fetch the plate or pick it up, you’ll be wasting more than 700 gallons of water. And if you have a dishwasher then all this rinsing is for nothing so seriously step out of the kitchen and leave your dishes for the dishwasher.
3. Keep Your Dishwasher Clean
Some people claim that despite of following all the above said instructions, their dishes are still not top notch clean. The reason is because your dishwasher might be dirty hence why the smelly dishes. Keep your dishwasher clean. At least after two weeks, give it a wash pour bleach in its filter so as to get rid of the harmful bacteria and dirt down there. Once you’ve cleaned your dishwasher, try the dishes again. They will come out clean, if not then you need to hire someone to have a look at it!
